Civil Rights Groups Protest Rep. Steve Scalise Fundraiser

Activists protested a meet and greet for the fundraising team of Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA 1) at the Capitol Hill Club in Washington, DC on Tues. Jan. 13. It was recently discovered that Scalise gave a speech to a white nationalist conference in Louisiana in 2002. Various civil rights organizations, such as Color of Change, are calling for Scalise to be removed from his House leadership position as Majority Whip.
